What is Hike for Healthcare?

Hike for Healthcare is a fundraiser in support of urgent healthcare needs at Queensway Carleton Hospital (QCH). We are challenging participants to hike, walk or run 10km from now until October 31, to raise funds for our hospital’s urgent healthcare priorities including building space for additional patient beds, updating our surgical suites, and urgently needed equipment.

Not only will you be helping to raise critical funds for our hospital, this event is a great way to keep fit and healthy while following public health guidelines. You can participate individually or as part of a team, virtually or with others in your household, anytime and anywhere you want. Inside your home, outside in your neighborhood, or on some of our beautiful local hiking trails.

With your help, QCH will continue to be a regional leader in patient care and cornerstone programs such as surgery, medical services, childbirth, care of the elderly, acute rehabilitation services, emergency care, critical care and mental health services.
